Between and after course hours we offer you some special lectures and social events.

  • The participation is free for participants. Some of the events have limited places.
  • We inform participants about further details after course registration.

Monday

VILLAGE WALK through Wengen

with a local historian

Visit the most attractive places in Wengen, have the best view on the surrounding mountains and learn about Wengen’s history and all-day life. The walk is followed by coffee and cake and highly recommended especially for those who have not been in Wengen before (but of course also for everyone who is interested).

Time: 2:00 – 4:00 pm


SCIENTIFIC TALK at the cinema

Time: 6:45 – 7:45 pm

Tuesday

CURLING

Curling is a very popular winter sport in Switzerland. Learn how to play this game and have fun competing with the other student teams.

Time: 8:30 – 10:30 pm (approximately)

Wednesday

DINNER

Enjoy a delicious dinner with a beautiful mountain view together with many other participants as well as the lecturers.  Probably one of the best chances for networking during this week.

Time: 6:45 – 10:00 pm
